    If the World Doesn't End...

Since 2008 ORNG Ink has offered free and safe community space for creative teens and young adults in the Valley on the border of Orange and West Orange, NJ. We wanted to see if young people could create art and community based on their own interests and needs if given the freedom, respect and support they deserve.

In 2012, our collective of vibrant and passionate youth nearly blew the doors off of the place. The experiment worked. What started as 8 high school kids learning graphic arts has grown into a collaborative work space for a multi-generational blend of amazing artists and supporters who cross racial and economic boundaries to share in art-making as a means to better themselves, their neighborhoods and the world.

Today is December 21, 2012, and the world is supposed to end, but our young people are just beginning to make the differences that they want to see around them, and their ideas and projects can't be scrapped just yet.

Please consider helping ORNG Ink raise support so that we can continue to provide a home for our young people to safely make art and community in 2013.

Here's to a Happy 2013.
